FAQ
Where do I pour the liquid when changing the refill?
Pour the liquid down the drain. It’s safe for the environment. Avoid contact with metal surfaces as it may cause rust if not rinsed off.
How long does an Absodry moisture absorber last?
It depends on humidity levels and refill size. Generally, a 450-gram refill lasts 1–3 months in a 12–14 m² space. Duration varies with the absorber’s size, placement, and room dimensions.
What if I spill Absodry liquid on the floor or carpet?
No problem! Just wipe it up and clean the area with lukewarm water. Repeat if necessary.
Does Absodry work in freezing temperatures?
Absodry works down to 0°C (32°F). Below freezing, it stops working since there’s no moisture to absorb. It resumes once temperatures rise above freezing.
Why does the fiber pouch sometimes get hard?
When the crystals inside the pouch absorb moisture and then dry out due to low humidity, they harden. When moisture returns, the crystals turn back into liquid and drain into the container. No need to replace the pouch if it hardens.
What happens if Absodry liquid gets on my skin or in my eyes?
Absodry contains Calcium Chloride (75–99%). It can cause serious irritation or burns. If it gets in your eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for several minutes and seek medical attention immediately.
