How to use Absodry – step by step

Reducing moisture in your home doesn’t have to be complicated. With Absodry, you get a simple solution that helps absorb excess moisture from the air – perfect for spaces where moisture easily builds up, such as bathrooms, wardrobes, laundry rooms, storage areas or near windows.

1. Add the refill bag

Start by placing the refill bag in the container. The refill bag contains calcium chloride, a moisture-absorbing substance that draws moisture from the air.

Make sure the refill bag is positioned correctly in the container before putting the lid back on.

2. Place Absodry where moisture occurs

Place Absodry where you want to reduce moisture. This could be in the bathroom, wardrobe, laundry room, near windows, in the caravan, boat or storage room.

Place the product on a stable surface, preferably where air can circulate around it.

3. Let Absodry do the work

Once Absodry is in place, the refill bag starts absorbing moisture from the air. After approximately 2–4 weeks, you can usually start to see liquid in the container.

How quickly the liquid forms depends on the humidity level in the room. In more humid environments, the process may happen faster, while in drier spaces it may take longer.

4. Empty and start again

When the container is full, it’s time to empty it. This can take up to around 3 months, depending on the environment and humidity level.

Twist the lid to open the emptying outlet and carefully pour the liquid down the drain. Once the container has been emptied, you can add a new refill bag and start again from step 1.

With Absodry, you get a convenient solution for keeping moisture under control – simple, effective and hassle-free.
